Wanted to do a quick post of the things keeping me busy lately.
So sorry for the long hiatus on FOTD-- between not wearing makeup daily and busy summer stuff, I have had little time to blog. (hangs head in shame) There are many items I have to blog about-- Avon orders/review, elf order WAY back/review, just difficult to find the time to attend to these. My kids are in their second week of school and so my days are a little more predictable at least until school lets out.
Summertime is the best of times and the worst of times for my skin. I like my summer skin because it's not so dry as my wintertime skin. All the humidity in the air seems to do wonders for my dry skin. It's the worst of times because any sun brings on my melasma problems. I also like a bit of tan- I love the golden tan color I get and I feel like I look healthier and thinner. LOL
Hi all, it's been a long time since I did a FOTD post. My excuse is that I've just been so busy of late. May is always a crazy month for me with 3 birthdays, end of school year which usually means added activities that I have to be involved in, track season, and all the rest of the stuff I do.
Hi. Been busy here with this being the last week of school. Tomorrow is the last day. Project this week includes moving all three kids into different rooms. As of today I have DD all done. Youngest son and Middle son are sharing small TV room that I painted one wall earlier this week until I get DD's old room painted more manly colors- it's yellow right now. Today's goal is to paint 3 walls Summer Beige. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get accent wall painted in Feldspar and have everyone relocated by the weekend.
OK, the title probably doesn't make much sense but all three things have put a smile on my face recently.
For a while I've gotten these weird, off-topic comments on my photos- usually some photo of a brush, the quilt I got from TJ Maxx for DD's bed, etc. Almost always they are on older posts and totally meaningless. Plus the person is always the silhouette with "?" When I get notification, I go and delete the comment. After receiving a couple of them today, I wondered if there's a way to change comments in general. There is...
So it seems like forever since I have truly done a proper blog. Spring is always a bit hectic for me. First there are track meets two a week usually, with at least one (sometimes two) being a home meet that I help officiate triple jump. The weekends I really try to spend time with the hubby because his work schedule is so hectic that we don't see much of him during the week. So I really try to do nothing but hang with him. That usually means a trip to the track on Sunday for a workout and some time out in the sunshine reading- he's usually in his hammock and I'm in a lounge chair nearby. Last week I worked on a landscaping project. We have landscaping bricks lining the drive and around the house. We have put river rock in the "flower beds" between the house/drive and bricks and every spring the bricks get shifted out of whack due to rain, freezing, kids and dogs. In previous springs I have spent hours realigning them but this year I was hoping that if I put in a little extra work, I could maybe keep them in place permanently.
Exactly 5 pounds from goal on this morning's weigh in. Very excited about this new low. BFC has really become a way of life for me and I can't believe I am losing weight/fat while eating things like butter, nuts and whipping cream. Obviously sugar was my trigger.
