Sick of stupid comments... hope I found a fix.

For a while I've gotten these weird, off-topic comments on my photos- usually some photo of a brush, the quilt I got from TJ Maxx for DD's bed, etc. Almost always they are on older posts and totally meaningless. Plus the person is always the silhouette with "?" When I get notification, I go and delete the comment. After receiving a couple of them today, I wondered if there's a way to change comments in general. There is...

Go to the "Edit Profile" tab  on your blog. Next on the left hand side is a list of things you can do- go to "Privacy & Defaults" tab. Then there will be a screen with some options.  I redid two settings in hopes of preventing these idiots from being able to make stupid, inane comments on my blog. First was the "Default Content Settings" and I changed both "Allow Comments From:" and "Allow Tags From:" to "Neighborhood"-- so if any of my neighbors start making inane comments-- guess what? I'll be booting your @$$ out of my "hood" LOL 

Next I also changed "Comment Approval" so that I have to approve any comment other than my neighbors. This way, all of the vox MMU fiends can comment whenever they want but random stupid people finding my blog won't be able to. Maybe that will keep the weirdos away. LOL

No, they make even less sense than "credit scores" For example last one was on Mirra brushes photo and literally said "Interesting theme I will take part" What the hell does THAT mean?
