Hi. Been busy here with this being the last week of school. Tomorrow is the last day. Project this week includes moving all three kids into different rooms. As of today I have DD all done. Youngest son and Middle son are sharing small TV room that I painted one wall earlier this week until I get DD's old room painted more manly colors- it's yellow right now. Today's goal is to paint 3 walls Summer Beige. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get accent wall painted in Feldspar and have everyone relocated by the weekend.
Boys are very excited to have own rooms- even if it means giving up TV room. I guess at 12 & 14 it's probably time. DD was excited about getting boys' walk-in closet but concession was bathroom. She had 6 drawers in large vanity & linen closet for all her stuff and new bath has pedestal sink/no storage. I found a piece of furniture at Hobby Lobby for about $100 that had 3 drawers that I'm going to make a "vanity" in her room. Just need to find a mirror but she's already been using in the meantime w/ her lighted makeup mirror. This is probably a better setup because she'll be heading off to college in about a year and that room has own heating/cooling system. Also allows guests their own personal suite to stay in.
Off to start painting. Hopefully next week I'll get back to MMU stuff.
BTW another "Squeaky" story- last week DH saw Jack put Squeaky in his food bowl while he ate- kind of like "Hey Buddy, go ahead and eat all you want." It really is his best friend. LOL
